First, so this page is worth anything: WordPress is a great program. It is free, open source and runs more than 40% of the world's websites according to W3Techs. The question is not whether it is good. It is whether it is the right tool for a business that lives on appointments.

WordPress gives you a program, not a website

WordPress is the engine. For the website to exist you need more parts: hosting to install it on, a domain, a theme to give it a look and, to take bookings, a booking plugin, which in the most popular cases comes as a limited free version plus a paid one. You choose, install, configure and fit every part together. You, or someone you pay.

Then comes what you do not see on day one: WordPress ships core updates several times a year, and every plugin and theme ships its own. Updating is recurring work, and sometimes one update breaks another part. Not updating leaves the site stuck, with old doors left open.

What WordPress has that you will not find here

Let us be honest, because otherwise this page is worthless. WordPress can be any website: a design tailored to the last pixel, a blog with a thousand articles, a full shop with WooCommerce. If you sell products online, if your website is mostly content, or if you need something that does not fit "a business with appointments", WordPress is probably the better choice and we will not tell you otherwise.

And it is entirely yours: open source, exportable, movable to another host whenever you like. Here you also take what is yours (your clients and appointments export whenever you want, and the domain is always in your name), but the website is a business website with bookings, not a canvas for everything. If what you need is a shop, today we are not your place.
