How do I handle large groups?
Above the size you set, the booking comes in as a pending request without taking a table until you accept it.

In Tables you can enable large-group requests and set from how many guests. Above that number, a website booking is not rejected for capacity: it comes in as a pending request, with no table assigned, and you decide whether to accept it and how to seat it.
If you configure nothing, a group that does not even fit your largest table still comes in as a request: talking to them beats losing them with a "no availability".
You can also set a hard cap above which online booking is not allowed, so a party of sixty does not come in through the form.
Today large-group requests are made from the website; if the group writes to the assistant, the best move is to send them the booking link.
