Can I organise the room by areas and join tables?
Yes: you define areas and tables, the client picks an area (never a table) and from the dashboard you join tables for a group.

In Tables you define your areas (terrace, dining room, bar) and your tables with their capacity. The order you put them in is the order in which they are assigned automatically.
From the website the client can pick an area if you allow it, but never a specific table: booking "table 7" is a floor decision, and you are the one who knows the floor. From the dashboard you do choose area and table, or let it be assigned automatically.
For a group you can join tables from the floor panel, and the booking takes all the ones you joined.
If you have several premises, each area belongs to a location and its tables inherit it: you will never seat someone at the other venue table.
